There are many local e-commerce website in Malaysia, I had chosen one florist website which is http://www.aliceflorist.com/web/eflorist/home.jsp. This is a website of one famous florist in Melaka. It was developed on year 2005.
Products:

The product they selling is flowers, cakes, bears, chocolates, and gift basket. It was categorized to few types, including birthday, marriage registration, graduation, grand opening, new born and etc. Buyers can select the category according to event. Besides this, buyers also can select the price according to the budget, and it will come out the more than ten designs of the flower and gift for buyers to choose.

A successful e-commerce website will have an attractive and eye-catching images or photos in the homepage. Thus, when the first time I was review to this website, I was attracted y the graduate bear. Therefore, I will spend more time to continue review on this website for further information on the product they selling.
Details:
The seller also provide the details and the description on for each flower and gifts. And the information and terms and condition is stated clearly in the website, this will not misleading to the buyers and minimized the conflict between seller and buyers.
There are few types of peyment way provide to buyers. It is convenience to the buyers who using the specific banking service. Conclusion:
Among all the posts on e-tailing from My E-Commerce blog, I’ve chosen ‘Sarawak handicraft to go for e-commerce'.

This website is less attractive and eye-catching, potential customers might not have any interest to view further details. Therefore I strongly recommend the Goverment can review some of the famous e-commerce web and get the idea to improve the website. It wolud be nice if the web presentation isinclude some dynamic catalog and interactive animation.
2. Sarawak Handicraft Council can put much effort in promoting the website.
I agree with the personal opinion in My E-Commerce that the URL for this handicrafts was a bit long. http://www.right.sarawak.gov.my/Rightmart/ . They should go for shorter URL such as http://www.e-handicraft.com.my/, http://www.sarawak-handicraft.com/, or anything that is shorter and easy to remember.
Besides, government can advertise this website on newspaper, television and radio. Moreover, government can request cooperation from famous bloggers to promote this website.
3. Sarawak Handicraft Council can provide further on what the handicrafts are about.
Sarawak Handicraft Council is strong recommended to include history and usefulness about those handicrafts. Further more, they can further describe what the materials of the handicraft are. The details provide to the buyers may interested to read further and understand more about Sarawak.

Distance Learning Cons:
Here are some factors that could negatively affect your success with distance learning courses:
1. No Instructor Face Time
- If your learning style is one where you like personalized attention from your teachers, then online education will probably not suit you.
2. Perceptions/Reputation
- While more mainstream colleges and universities embrace distance learning, there still is a stigma attached to distance education.
3. Requires New Skills/Technologies
- If you’re not computer-savvy or are afraid of change or new technologies, then online education will probably not work for you.
4. No Social Interaction
- While you often interact with classmates via email, chat rooms, or discussion groups, there are no real-life social interactions or get-togethers.
5. Making Time
- If you are a procrastinator or one of those people who always needs an extra push to complete work, you may have a hard time making time for your online classes.
6. Little Support
- Students are expected to find their own resources for completing assignments and exams, which is empowering for some, but daunting for others.
7. No Campus Atmosphere
- Part of the traditional college experience, of course, is the beauty of the campus, the college spirit, but you have none of that with distance-education courses.

Distance Learning Pros:
Here are some of the benefits of distance education courses.
1. Convenience
- Take online courses when you need them.
- A course is at your finger tips with a computer with an Internet connection.
2. Flexibility
- With no set class times, you decide when to complete your assignments and readings.
- You set the pace.
3. Availability
- Distance-learning opportunities have exploded over the past few years, with many accredited and reputable programs offered.
4. Cost
- Prices are often cheaper for online courses than traditional college and trade courses, with no housing or meals plans to worry about.
5. Self-Directed
- You set your own pace and schedule, so you control the learning environment.
6. Time Spent in Classroom
- There is no need of travel to a classroom so you have very little wasted time. Note, however, that some distance-education programs still do have an in-class component.
7. No Travel Expenses - You may never even have to leave your house to take an online course, and certainly there are no relocation costs.
8. Accessibility
- You can work on the course just about anywhere you have computer access.
9. Better for Some Learners
- More suitable for people who learn through visual cues and experiential exercises and those who require more time, are language-challenged, or introverted.
10. No Interrupting Job/Career
- Courses are located in cyberspace and controlled by your pace, there is no need to quit your current job, or even take a leave of absence to go back to school.

The table showed that there is an annual increase of number of students enrolled in part time and distance learning programmes in public universities. However, no data was found in the private universities sector.
Some of the local and private universities that offered distance learning and some are listed below. These universities offer diploma, degree, postgraduate, and professional studies.
University of Malaya Centre for Continuing Education (UMCCed)

Total fees for the degree programmes varies from RM17,250.00 to RM17,650.00 inclusive of processing & administrative fee and resources & service fee. Fees are payable according to the number of courses you will be studying per semester. Maximum number of courses to be taken each semester is limited to four (4) courses and minimum of one (1) or 15 credit hours per semester.
What is online learning or open distance learning?
It means you learn from a distance and a physical separation between the teacher and you. There are times that associate lecturers meet you for selected tasks such as counseling, giving tutorials or solving your learner-related problems.
The teaching contents are transmitted electronically, over the telephone, teleconferencing, through pod casting, on-line communication and traditional print material.
Flexibility
Online learning appeals to a wider audience because it is more accessible and affordable. The program allows you to continue your education without disrupting your family, social and work obligations. You may complete the course at your own pace and convenience.
No geographical barrier
Geographical location is no longer a barrier. So, if you live in a remote area or are unable to attend classes regularly, you can still realise your dreams. You can study at home, attend tutorials at nearby regional offices, and e-mail, instant message or phone our tutors for assistance.

The Electronic Government initiative was launched to lead the country into the Information Age. It will improve how the government operates internally, as well as how it delivers services to the people of Malaysia. It seeks to improve the convenience, accessibility and quality of interactions with citizens and businesses. At the same time, it will improve information flows and processes within government to improve the speed and quality of policy development, coordination and enforcement.
To accelerate the objectives of Vision 2020, a path has already been defined through seven innovative Flagship Applications. These applications are engineered to start the MSC initiative and create a multimedia heaven for innovative producers and users of multimedia technology. Both local and foreign companies work with various government agencies to enhance the socio-economic development of Malaysia. The Multimedia Super Corridor offers a Malaysian initiative for the Information Age. Electronic Government is fall under the seven flagship applications - Project Monitoring System (SPP II)
- Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS)
- Generic Office Environment (GOE)
- Electronic Procurement (EP)
- Electronic Services (E-Services)

The implementation of E-Government services will bring convenience to the public, businesses and the government itself. It can be helping to save some manpower contributuion, save time and money as well. For instance, governments should market E-Govenment, to improve citizen’s awareness of the benefits and conveniency and increase take-up rate of usng for the E-Government. Such as, Printng EPF statement online or thru KIOSK machine, reported their income tax thru E-Filling.

The adoption of E-Government has brought a lot more convenient to Malaysia citizens. This is because most of the transactions can be done at a single click, at any time infact people no longer need to queue up to perform certain government transaction such as filing the income tax form. Eventhough, e-government is still unpopular among the citizens but sooner people will realize its importance. Besides that E-Government adoption is affected by website design elements that provide perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, by user characteristics such as sense of perceived risk, feeling of perceived control and prior Internet experience, and also by citizen satisfaction with the quality of its services.
