There are many local e-commerce website in Malaysia, I had chosen one florist website which is http://www.aliceflorist.com/web/eflorist/home.jsp. This is a website of one famous florist in Melaka. It was developed on year 2005.

Products:

The product they selling is flowers, cakes, bears, chocolates, and gift basket. It was categorized to few types, including birthday, marriage registration, graduation, grand opening, new born and etc. Buyers can select the category according to event. Besides this, buyers also can select the price according to the budget, and it will come out the more than ten designs of the flower and gift for buyers to choose.

A successful e-commerce website will have an attractive and eye-catching images or photos in the homepage. Thus, when the first time I was review to this website, I was attracted y the graduate bear. Therefore, I will spend more time to continue review on this website for further information on the product they selling.

Details:
The seller also provide the details and the description on for each flower and gifts. And the information and terms and condition is stated clearly in the website, this will not misleading to the buyers and minimized the conflict between seller and buyers.

Payment type:

There are few types of peyment way provide to buyers. It is convenience to the buyers who using the specific banking service.

Conclusion:
As a conlusion, it's still a new market for Malaysia in e-commerce. Since the total demand of online buyer grow rapidly, entrepreneur should build up a new e-commerce sites to gain online market share while there are still have oputunity in the internet.

Among all the posts on e-tailing from My E-Commerce blog, I’ve chosen ‘Sarawak handicraft to go for e-commerce'.

Electronic retailing, or e-tailing, refers to the practice of selling goods and services over Internet. E-Tailing used in Internet discussions as early as 1995, the term seems an almost similar to e-mail, e-business, and e-commerce. E-tailing is synonymous with business-to-consumer (B2C) transaction.

Refers to the Bernama news, Sarawak wants to encourage handicraft industry players to venture into electronic commerce transactions with branded value-added products to have a competitive edge in the international market. As a start, industry players are encouraged to utilize the one-stop e-handicraft mall set up by Sarawak Handicraft Council.

The website, http://www.right.sarawak.gov.my/Rightmart/, it is a website for the handicraft industry players to showcase their products and designs online.

This would be a good idea as the Sarawak aborigines will be able to market their handicraft products on a global market, this indirectly will lead people around the world to acknowledge and appreciate Sarawak’s unique culture and values.

However, there is some suggestion to Sarawak Government to be improved in ‘Sarawak handicraft to go for e-commerce’.

1. The design of the website may imporve to attract buyers

This website is less attractive and eye-catching, potential customers might not have any interest to view further details. Therefore I strongly recommend the Goverment can review some of the famous e-commerce web and get the idea to improve the website. It wolud be nice if the web presentation isinclude some dynamic catalog and interactive animation.

2. Sarawak Handicraft Council can put much effort in promoting the website.

I agree with the personal opinion in My E-Commerce that the URL for this handicrafts was a bit long. http://www.right.sarawak.gov.my/Rightmart/ . They should go for shorter URL such as http://www.e-handicraft.com.my/, http://www.sarawak-handicraft.com/, or anything that is shorter and easy to remember.

Besides, government can advertise this website on newspaper, television and radio. Moreover, government can request cooperation from famous bloggers to promote this website.

3. Sarawak Handicraft Council can provide further on what the handicrafts are about.

Sarawak Handicraft Council is strong recommended to include history and usefulness about those handicrafts. Further more, they can further describe what the materials of the handicraft are. The details provide to the buyers may interested to read further and understand more about Sarawak.
