I just started a new job, in a brand new industry. Currently I am working as a research assistant in a small research company. In my first day of work, I was asked to read two dry guidelines books published by one of our ministry. Well, by 0913am I felt sleepy. Because of this, my daily caffeine quota has exploded and is increasing on daily basis.

By day two, I was asked to do population count, using Google Earth. Well, I need to know what are the "taman"s in the designated area. How do i count? Just zoom in, and count the houses manually. Of course, it is a rough estimation. The method used - unbelivable!.... My supervisor told me it is a way to estimate population roughly before actual site visit.

So to say, there are alot of things to learn, and I am looking forward for some knowledge enrichment experience with the new company.
